I’ve been filming on Canon DSLRs cameras for a few years now. They are great tools for capturing a story as long as you know how to properly use them. The best way to help you understand and manipulate the camera is by using Magic Lantern.
I decided to download and install the nightly build of Magic Lantern the other day. The is the latest version that is still under construction and not approved for the masses. The team over at Magic Lantern are vastly improving the firmware. Not only are they adding new features like RAW recording, but they are also improving the interface. The interface is my main topic for today. They have upgraded the graphics and they have upgraded the friendliness. Magic Lantern will not display the camera’s ISO in green (low noise), yellow (some noise), and red (Holy swiss cheese, Batman, that’s noisy).

I haven’t seen any bugs or issues, but please remember to use at your own risk.
